Octavo

Octavo is a collaboration between Kenny Laurenson (lyricist) Stella Angelika (vocals) BJ Cole (pedal steel guitar) and myself Guy Jackson (keyboards, composer and producer). It gathered momentum when I heard some of Kenny’s lyrics on an old cassette tape demo and straight away I could hear great tracks emerge. 

I brought in Stella Angelika on vocals and we created two tracks – Lost in Space and Boy on a Wire – with the aim of acknowledging our mutual admiration of Glasgow based band the Blue Nile.
