Great North Road

This piano piece was composed in reaction to driving a very treasured cargo along the Great North Road.

The composition contains a hybrid orchestral and synthesised backing which includes several sound design elements recorded at the roadside at various locations along the route.

An earlier mix was put out on SoundCloud where it was embraced by several piano groups.

The Great North Road single is a forerunner for my album project Sad Sad Situation, which is planned for an early 2020 release.
